Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid Stainless Steel Utility TongsCustomer Review: One of the best! Summary: 5 Stars
I love these tongs - they do just about anything I put them to use for and just come out wonderful. The cleanup is great - they go through the dishwasher in a breeze and nothing sticks. These are great for flipping fish, pasta, you name it and they're there. They don't grab too much, thus preventing food from tearing. And, we won't even mention how much fun they are for a three-year-old to run around the house with grabbing whatever is in his path! They definitely take a beating, whacking, you name it and they look brand new. They are just beautiful to use as a serving piece and if they can take all that heavy duty beating by a boy, then you know they're worth the money!
Description of KitchenAid Stainless Steel Utility TongsMost chefs feel empty handed without a pair of trusty tongs. Grab hot chicken breasts, steaming rolls, and more, safely and securely. The perforated sides help ensure easy food release while the wavy edges are designed to grab on tight. Sliding the little rubberized loop up locks the tongs for easy storage. With slotted faces for draining away liquid, these 12-1/2-inch tongs are ideal for serving pasta, salad, corn on the cob, fruit, and other foods and for use in the kitchen. They're made of 18/8 stainless steel polished to a mirror finish and are dishwasher-safe. They have a black hanging hole on the end that, when pulled out, locks the tongs together for space-saving storage. KitchenAid says the first year of the tongs' lifetime warranty against defects is hassle-free; the company will ship a replacement at no cost and without question if a defect is detected. --Fred Brack
