This is a very good slicer, helps when you are dealing with lots of apples, like making applesauce, this was the first thing that I used it for, or making a pie, and is very good too when you are just getting one apple for eating, the core almost always came out in one piece, and makes very nice slices too!

With its durable stainless cutting blade it slices easily through fruit to produce perfect wedges. It is available in Red or Black and is dishwasher safe.This fruit slicer cores and slices apples and pears into appealing wedges in just seconds. The simple gadget also greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to prepare fruits for pies or tarts, and is much easier to use than some of the more gimmicky coring/slicing contraptions out there.
