I'm so glad we added this to our wedding registry because we've ended up using this gadget far more often than our new fancy food processor, electronic chopper, or immersion blender. This is really easy to clean and everything basically comes apart and a quick rinse under hot water gets the job done. We primarily use it to chop onions and somewhere between 12 and 15 chops gets you just the right size pieces and they are all pretty uniformly chopped. I'm sure there are more expensive choppers similar to this, but for the price and the amount that you'll use it this little gadget is worth buying.
