Would have been a good product, if not defective. Wire mesh has flaws. Maybe not all, but the two I've seen. Capacity is slightly lower than I would have liked, but still okay. Arms extend out far enough for probably any sink. Will stand on counter quite well, when arms are folded in. This colander was somewhat more heavy than I thought it would be. If put in dishwasher, food could become trapped between mesh and rim. Otherwise, was quite a sturdy colander. Returned mine, due to flaws. Might try again in the future.
