So what should you be looking for in a pizza wheel? A sturdy, comfortable handle and a sharp blade that won't corrode. Oh, and wouldn't it be nice if you could hang it for storage, and throw it in the dishwasher to get rid of all that gooey cheese? Well, here you go, all in a stylish package.With a thick stainless-steel blade beveled to a sharp edge, this sturdy wheel-type cutter rolls through pizza, fudge, lasagna, and other foods, dividing them into neat serving portions. The cutter has a finger guard and a stylish, enamel-like handle. It's made of 18/8 stainless steel polished to a mirror finish and is dishwasher-safe. The wheel is 3 inches in diameter; overall, the cutter is 8 inches long. (KitchenAid also makes a larger version of the cutter, with a 4-inch-diameter wheel. This smaller wheel is easier for small-handed cooks and children, but it doesn't cut quite as quickly as the larger model.) KitchenAid says the first year of the cutter's lifetime warranty against defects is "hassle-free," with a replacement shipped at no cost and without question if a defect is detected. --Fred Brack
