Also handy for retrieving fritters, wontons and so on from oil or broth.Sturdy and stylish, this tool consists of a colander on a handle, forming a scoop that quickly drains pasta, vegetables, and shrimp right from the pot. The colander measures 7 inches wide and 8 inches long, ample for serving a generous portion of pasta with a single scoop, and is squared off at one end so it can scrape the bottom of a pot. Made of polished, 18/8 stainless steel, the colander scoop has a beautiful enamel-like handle with a hanging hole on the end. It's dishwasher-safe and measures 16 inches long overall.
