Be sure to buy this one over the Zyliss - I couldn't get the Zyliss to do anything but mangle onions just a little. This Kitchenaid chopper is just fantastic. It chops very easily and very quickly, and the cleanup is just a breeze. I usually wash mine on the top rack of the dishwasher and it has always done just fine. It's fabulous for nuts too!
