I have always wanted a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, but always believed it was meant to be a wedding gift. I was so excited to get it as a wedding gift from my mother-in-law. I had to use it immediately! I've used it to make a couple of cakes and it was so much easier than the old way using my hand mixer. It was quick and easy cleanup and fun to use. Plus, the cakes tasted awesome!
I also used it to mix hamburger meat with bread crumbs and egg. It was a lot easier than doing it by hand--not as much of the messy egg on my hands.
It was the best wedding gift I got. My husband didn't understand why, but it is awesome! I love it.
I recommend getting another bowl and lids. I do a lot of cookie baking and it is nice not to have to transfer bowls when starting a new batch.
