Customer Review: Why did I wait so long?

I had been coveting the KitchenAid Artisan mixer for so long I would visit it at my local chef store. It was a sad case until my husband gave me an Amazon promotional certificate. I waffled for a while because I wanted almost all the colors. After doing some more research I discovered the Accolade, which was not a model I had heard of before. The Accolade does not come in as many colors as the Artisan, 9 vs. 20. However, it has a 400 watt motor(higher than the Artisan), stainless steel bowl with handle, tilting head that locks in the up & down position, and came with flat beater, dough hook, wire whip, and pouring shield. It also has a soft start feature that keeps flour & other such items from puffing out all over your counters. I chose the Terra Cotta which is a perfect addition to my colorful kitchen. I pretty much use it to do everything. Belgian waffles taste a lot better with real stiff peak egg whites instead of my tired arm egg whites. If you're in the market for a sexy stand mixer with power, beauty, and the admiration of many the KitchenAid Accolade is absolutely the way to go.
