Customer Review: The most fun to use

You can have a lot of fun watching this KitchenAid MKT223 as it does 5 different things to your bread. It gives you a beep when it starts lowering the bread, and three beeps when it raises it after doing its thing. The bread slots are 5.75 inches long, which is long enough to accomodate Arnold bread. You can warm up bread you stored in the refrigerator, and you can keep it warm in this cool device. In my kitchen, this replaced a Krups digital toaster which had an LED numerical count down feature (this KitchenAid has a horizontal receding bar graph countdown); but the Krups had a too-short bread slot. More significantly, this KitchenAid uses electronics to control the lowering and raising of the bread, and the Krups did not. You and your friends and family will get a lot of enjoyment using this push-button, automatic digital toaster from KitchenAid. Even the crumb tray is well designed--it's wider and easier to remove and replace.
