I agree with most other reviewers that this is a well-made cover. It looks sharp and is very thick. My only complaint is that it just covers the bottom of the bowl if I store it in the up position, leaving a lot of room at the bottom. well sewn and exactly what you expect when you open the packaging. I wish it had a place to put the wish attachment when not in use (maybe a pocket on one of the ends? If you put it in the pockets that exist it puffs out a whole lot. Would also have been nice for it to have a hook on the top so I can hang it up on a kitchen hook when I am using the mixer instead of it sitting in a pile. I couldn't find a cover that had the exact features I wanted so I settled for this one and it will be just fine. Made of nice heavy material.Customer Review: Don't wash it!

The label says not to wash it. Why would you make a cotton item for the kitchen and not make it washable?! We have a rule at our house that, if it doesn't survive either the dishwasher or the washing machine, we didn't need it anyway. Well, I washed the stand mixer cover, and it did, indeed, shrink. It fits fine around the mixer, but it's now high water at the bottom. Oh, well. It still keeps junk out of the bowl and dust and grime off the top, so I guess it still covers. Good luck trying to find this in a store. I finally found this at Target Online, with a great selection of colors and a good price! Stitching is good, pocket on the front is large and will hold most of the accessories! This was suggested, by Amazon.com, as possibly being of interest to me with my new Kitchen Aid. Very sturdy and looks easy to wash. Was a little bulkier and heavier than expected.
