Customer Review: KitchenAid Immersion blender with attachments

I love my new KitchenAid KHB300ER immersion blender. I have had it a little over one month. It works great. I use it several times a week cooking for a family of 3-4 and occasionally entertaining. I have pureed large and small pots of soup and made milkshakes with the immersion attachment. I use the chopper attachment frequently chopping all sorts of fruits and veggies. It easily chops with both coarse and fine texture. The whisk also works well, although I have not tried it out as much. It is easy to clean and store. I highly recommend this product. If you are short on kitchen space this could easily replace your blender, mixer, and food processor.Customer Review: Do not buy this.

I make a fruit smoothie every morning for breakfast. This is the second Kitchen Aid product that I purchased. It burnt out after in less than a year, so I bought a Braun. The Braun took about two years to burn out - much better design and product. Unfortunately, it's no longer manufactured so I took a chance on this much more expensive Kitchen Aid item. It lasted about four months. I will never buy another product from them. What's interesting is that the Braun product is available in Europe. Why not here?Customer Review: Solid and Useful

I ordered the KitchenAid KHB300 in lieu of the Cuisinart SmartStick from Crate&Barrel because of the reviews. I'm very glad I decided to do some research. The KitchenAid's stainless steel shaft is solid and durable, the blades on both the blender and the food chopper are sharp and well positioned. The unit feels professional to the touch and I love the variable speed (1-9) functionality that many of the immersion blenders don't offer. I have used the blender every day for the past 3 weeks for smoothies, guacamole, grinding fresh coffee beans and making pesto. It cleans easily and with the right amount of pulsing and speed adjustments you are able to get the consistency just right for everything you might need to blend/puree/grind.

This little wonder is so useful. You will find yourself using it for countless tasks. Makes great soups and gravies with the stick blender. The food processor attachment is amazingly better than by old Braun unit. It is very powerful, lots of stainless steel parts and the motor hums so smoothly and quietly. The unit is made in 2 pieces so that it is really easy to snap off the front and clean it without worrying about getting the cord or motor unit wet. I love this hand blender, it's so easy to use and clean, and works so well, I made frozen fruit puree for my kids many times they love it, blended bean soup, veggies (cooked)soup and waffle mixes, cakes etc. Its small so It doesn't take that much space in my pantry. I can say that I have replaced my regular blender for this one. (I still have it though)just in case.
