Customer Review: Garlic Sauce Heaven
Summary: 5 Stars

My wife's old trusty stick blender died, so I replaced it with a top of the line unit. Yes KitchenAid is worth the bucks. I have been rewarded with many delights from her new tool.It works great and she has perfected her garlic sauce recipe to outworldly status. Oh yes and the blender is good too.

Customer Review: Easy to Use
Summary: 5 Stars

The blender is easy to use and cleans up quickly. If you like smoothies, you'll especially want this blender. Also good for pureed tomatoes, etc. There are attachments (egg beater), also but I haven't used them yet. Ten speed with lots of power.

Customer Review: A Tool no Gadget

This is the tool that gets used. Everything needed in 1 handy case. Easy to use, easy to clean,

Customer Review: Brilliant Kitchen Technology
Summary: 5 Stars

I would classify myself as an experimental cook. I love kitchen equipment and really involved recipes. I'm not one, however to just purchase any tool for the kitchen. It must be a "multi-tasker" as Alton Brown would say, and it must be of professional kitchen quality.

This immersion blender, stick blender, hand held blender (whatever name you know it by) has all the glorious features that make it worthy of my kitchen.

There is an adjustable speed setting, which is fantastic when you are blending a light sauce and don't wish to splatter the whole kitchen. The shaft is a durable stainless steel and the blender portion has some nice features as well. For one, the end that is submurged is not flat, but rather has peaks and valleys. This prevents the force of the blade turning from suctioning itself to the base of your pot. The intake holes are larger which helps when you have a very chunky product that you wish to make smooth.

The atachments are amazing. I was able to survive for near a decade in the kitchen without a food processor by using the little processing attachment. I've not had the use for the wisk, however in comparison to my previous model, this wisk is much sturdier and I could see the benefit over hand wisking.

I received mine off of my registry from another supplier, so I am uncertain is this one comes with the bag. But storage is much easier when you can keep all the stick attachments organized.

If you are thinking about adding this item to your kitchen tools, you can't do better with more features at this price than the KitchenAid. I highly recommend it.

Customer Review: be very careful
Summary: 1 Stars

I normally am not critical with products but I had an accident with this immersion blender. Something got stuck in the top near the blade, I went to pull it out, and the way you hold it, I accidentally hit the button and severely cut up my finger. 11 stitches and I also chipped my bone. Apparently others have did the same thing when i googled it.

Yes it was a stupid mistake on my part, leaving it plugged in, but i am writing this to let customers aware. Be very careful your children do not get a hold of this, the blades are close and really sharp. and the button is extremely easy to trigger!

Definitely works better with milkshakes then the cupcake batter I was working on.
