Customer Review: The best, improved.

Bought the KitchenAid KFP750 as an early Christmas gift for my daughter. Her previous KitchenAid, model unknown, had seen about 12 years of continuous domestic service and the safety mechanism had worn, requiring pressing the lid down to actuate it. Aside from the worn safety catch it was still a work-horse and she was content with holding the lid down to use it. She has now started a side business preparing gift food tidbit packages. This requires a more intense cooking schedule leaving no time for hovering over a food processor. She was thrilled with the new processor because it has more power, making it faster, an additional small food chute allowing carrots and celery to be sliced without canting sideways and causing unwanted bias cuts, and a small hole in the food pusher, allowing liquids to be drizzled onto whatever is being processed. Despite the larger 12 cup capacity it's still small enough to leave on the counter, it's the biggest processor that could do so. I'll let you know in 10 years if the safety mechanism life has been improved.
