Customer Review: Great machine, worth the money

Great machine, well worth the money. Bought this machine, KitchenAid KFP750CR 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor, Chrome at the end of December 2010,and I use this machine 3 to 4 times a week. So far this machine has handled everything we have thrown at it. Chops nuts(almonds and pecans so far), potatoes, carrots, onions, celery, and others without skipping a beat. Makes beautiful hash browns, shredded carrots and zucchini. Sliced potatoes and carrots and peppers. We have not tried bread or pasta dough yet.
As other reviewers have mentioned that in the large bowl the amount of liquid you can put in the bowl is some what limited due to the center shaft, however this has not been a problem for me. I was somewhat concerned about it but so far I have not had to put more liquid in the bowl that what it can handle so I find that this is not a problem. I also have not experienced any issues with the lid not sealing tightly or leakage of any kind.
I also like the mini-bowl and have not had any issues with leaking on it.
This machine is heavy. Again I like that, I want my machine to stay in place when in use and am sure that if the machine was not heavy it would not be able to preform the way it does. I would rather have the weight and performance than no weight and no performance.
I was also quite surprised at how quiet this machine is when in operation. Extra bonus!
Overall I am very pleased with machine. Well worth the money and am sure it will be in my kitchen for many many years.
