Customer Review: Tip a cup to Kitchen Aid

After using a food processor type coffee grinder (the type with the blades) for years, decided to replace it. The grind would depend on how long you left the beans in the grinder. At times very course and sometimes extra fine, which effects the flavor of the coffee.
The A-9 lets you select the grind and fine tune it to your own liking. There is no guessing how long to grind the beans, it's consistant every time. The unit is sturdy, does not viabrate on the counter, shows quality construction.
The information clearly states not to use flavoured coffee beans. The flavoured coating that is used on the beans will gum up the burrs. If you must flavour your coffee, add the flavour after you brew.
This was the first electric coffee grinder! The fact that it has not changed over the years, must be an indication of quality, durability and customer satisfaction.
