Customer Review: Love this grinder...

I didn't read the reviews before purchasing the KitchenAid Grinder (in the totally cool pink color)....and I'm glad I did not. Yes, sometimes grounds get on the counter (that's what towels are for) and yes it is loud (it helps wake me up in the morning) and yes, sometimes it clogs up when I use flavored beans (but never clogs when I use Meijer Hazelnut Whole Beans). But, this grinder consistantly gives a great grind of coffee day in and day out. I have owned this for over a year with no problems with any of the mechanical parts. The couple of times it did clog (with non Meijer beans) I did as suggested and ran white rice through it and it cleared the clog up....although, please take my advise and do not lift the little hatch while it is unclogging because you will get rapid fire rice coming out and covering you head to toe (this is the voice of that bad experience speaking). Instead, hold a bag around the opening (with the flap open) and the clogged beans and rice will go right into the bag. Anyway, this is the best of many grinders I have owned and I would recommend it to anyone who would listen.
