This product is extremely worthwhile for anyone wanting to store their beaters in the bowl. The only semi-odd thing is that these are sold in pairs (guess I'll have to add another bowl when the amazon price is right). It keeps the inside of the bowl clean, it gives you a place to store the beaters, and it keeps the cats from trying to reach into the bowl and play with the beaters. What more could you ask of it? This is probably one of the best and easiest to justify additions for anyone with a kitchenaid stand mixer with the proper size bowl (especially when they have it on sale).Customer Review: Not what I thought they were!

I guess I should have read the printed description better. When I saw these on Amazon they appeared to be more of a splash cover for the Kitchenaid stand mixer bowls, the image appeared to have a hole in the center, thus I thought it would be like the bowl cover for my hand mixer bowl I ordered through the Pampered Chef. I thought the lid could be placed on the bowl and the beater could go through the center hole and thus prevent splashing. No such luck, no hole in the middle and even if I adapted it and cut the plastic away from the indented center, the blade would not turn as it should. So now I have lids to put on the bowl to keep dirt and dust out!Customer Review: Covers

As someone who likes to keep their stand mixer on the counter, these lids are great at keeping the mixer bowl clean so that it does not need to be washed before being used. A great product from KitchenAid.Customer Review: I Love It!

These covers are GREAT! It makes it sooooo much easier for me now to not have to transfer my batter into another container. I can just snap the lid on and pop it into the ice box until I'm ready to use it.
