First of all, let me tell you that I love Ice Cream. If you are actually reading this, I think it's safe to assume that you also love Ice Cream. When I'm in the mood for Ice Cream, I want it right away. There's nothing worse than bending a spoon trying to get your favorite flavor out of the container. I also don't like to chip away small pieces at a time to fill my bowl. I want a scooper that can plow through the hardest Ice Cream fast. I want large scoops and I want them quickly.I looked at dozens of scoopers over the course of a few years trying to find the perfect tool. I'm serious. I would go into a store and pick up a scooper, simulate scooping, check out the weight and balance and feel of the scooper in my hand. My search turned up plenty of good scoopers, but I didn't want a good scooper...I wanted the best scooper. Then, one day, I saw the KitchenAid scooper. I knew immediately my search was over.
This thing feels like an industrial shop tool. It is strong enough to break concrete blocks (no, I didn't actually try this). It feels great in your hand and it curls out perfect scoops every time. The large size of this scooper helps to keep it from freezing up quickly. Smaller scoops freeze up with the first scoop of Ice Cream. This thing works perfectly. No, it doesn't have any fancy release plungers or other junk. Those devices are hard to clean and rarely work anyway. This scooper is perfect in its simplicity.
Now let's talk beauty. You will never find a more beautiful scooper! When I have guests over, I love to bust out the KitchenAid scooper. People can't help but pick it up. It's so shiny and heavy and perfect! Buy a bunch of 'em for gifts. I love them so much, I bought two of them. Man I love these scoopers!
