Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials 10-Piece Brushed Stainless Steel Cookware Set

Customer Review: Easy Clean-up
Summary: 5 Stars

Love this set. Washes like a dream, even when food is burnt. I've tested every item in this set, and they come out clean and look good. When food is stuck on, I just put a little dishwasher soap and water in it, let sit for awhile and it scrubs clean in no time. If food is really badly stuck, you can put water in the pan, and heat it on the stove for a few minutes, then scrub clean. This should take care of those really tough burnt spots. Good Luck, Louise

Customer Review: I love this set
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the best cookware I have ever had. I am so happy to finally get away from the non-stick junk. This set has a nice weight and looks great. I just love them.

Customer Review: Can't beat 'em
Summary: 5 Stars

That's what I think. Very solid nice comfort grip handles that don't get hot. Packed for the long haul. Arrived in pristene condition. Even heating easy to clean. Best set I ever bought.

Customer Review: Good choice for the price
Summary: 4 Stars

I've been quite pleased with my new cookware -- a bit heavier than I expected but nothing uncomfortable. Great deal for the price!

Customer Review: Good product
Summary: 4 Stars

I've had these for a few months now. Firsly, I bought the set for $109.99, why is amazon.com now selling it for over $170?? Secondly, as for the product, I think it's a good, standard pots and pans set. It's basic, nothing fancy, but does the job.

Really important advice though: I was getting so frustrated with this set b/c every time I made pancakes, even though I SMOTHERED the pan in oil, the pancakes would burn. It was easy to clean up surprisingly, but the food burned! Well, I guess the best advice I got in regards to stainless steal is to use cooking spray, NOT oil! It has seriously made a world of difference. It's not as easy to clean anymore, but at least my food comes out normal.
