I purchased this off the Amazon website, but it was sold and shipped through [...]. The product I got was not new as stated, but used. It had a dent on the side and when I took it apart, the grinding wheels inside were worn down.
Description of KitchenAid GMA Grain Mill Attachment for Stand Mixers
Get the most fiber and protein for your homemade multi-grain and wheat breads, cereals or tortillas. Grind your own using this Grain Mill attachment with your KitchenAid stand mixer. Use with low-moisture grains, such as wheat, corn, rice and select the desired consistency - fine to coarse. Stainless steel attachment safely secures to front of mixer and detaches easily for convenient storage. Refrigerate ground grains for lasting freshness.Cooking from scratch is made easier with a stand mixer, and made all the more literal with this grain mill attachment. Use it to make flour out of wheat, corn, rye, oats, rice, buckwheat, barley, and millet--any low-moisture, non-oily grain (peanuts and coffee are a no-no with this tool). Make up to 10 cups at a time. The mill is sturdy, heavy, and easy to assemble and attach to the mixer's hub. Adjust the knob to the desired grind, fill the unit with grains, and crank it up to 10. When you're through, brush it clean with the small brush included in the kit. If you need to, wash it by hand, but don't put it in the dishwasher. --Betsy Danheim
