Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid Architect Series II : KUDS30IVSS Full Console Dishwasher - Stainless SteelCustomer Review: Fabulous dishwasher Summary: 5 Stars
I recently purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher Model KUDS30IV. I hadn't read any reviews on it so was a little unsure about how it would be. I shouldn't have worried. It is terrific! They advertise it as whisper quiet, it is. However, best of all, it does a great job washing the dishes and getting them completely clean. The installer recommended only the granular detergent, not the gel, and not washing the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. His words "let the detergent and the dishwasher do their job". And what a job it does, everything comes out sparkling clean, bright and dry. I couldn't be more pleased! I highly recommend it.
Customer Review: Super product Summary: 5 Stars
Best dishwasher I've owned. Prior included a Maytag, Whirlpool, etc.
Extremely quiet compared to the Maytag. Installation moderately difficult same as most. The wheels on the back can be lowered or removed to allow for tight openings, like mine.
I don't recall seeing plates and glasses so clean. Washing time is long and motor cycles on and off when washing, all part of the design.
The difference in noise level, room for dishes, and level of cleaning between this model and the Magtag is light years apart. Way surpassed my expectations.
Customer Review: Disapointed Summary: 2 Stars
I am usually a proponent of Kitchen Aid until I purchased the KUDS30IVSS. My family have owned kitchen aid dishwashers over the past 40 years, however the utensil rack in this one split open on the bottom after approximately 3 months of use. I'm very disappointed with quality of the wash compared to my Bosch we installed in my previous home. Just thought I'd through out my opinion.
