Customer Review: Great set for the money

I bought these for Christmas for my mother in law so that I didn't have to use her cheap knives from 30 years ago when helping her in the kitchen. They are very sharp (and therefore much safer for her). The grips are comfortable to hold and the knive work very well. They cut everything beautifully and are easy to clean.
I use Wusthof and these are not at that level, but they are not so far apart quality wise as you think. On a 1-10, the Wusthofs are a 9.9 and these are about an 8. However, when you consider 5 of these are the price of one high end brand, they are an incredible value. Great starter set for a younger person just starting out. Hard to imagine that there could be anything better for the money.
