This was an AWESOME deal! Ordered the factory reconditioned 325watt, 5qt. model for a great price on Amazon.com with FREE SHIPPING! It arrived in perfect condition! On top of the excellent condition and value for this mixer, they sent me the 350watt version instead of the 325! Added bonus! I've used it twice already, to make recipes found in the manual- the peanut butter cookies are awesome, and it turned the dough for cinnamon rolls like it was butter. I couldn't be more pleased with this product. Thanks AMAZON.COM for the great buy!

I've had my mixer for four years now and it still works great! I am known at my office as "Betty Crocker", which tells you that I need a good mixer for all the baking I do. Most often I make cookies with it, but I also mix cake mixes, frosting, biscuits, and breads. Don't let the fact that it is factory reconditioned scare you. I decided to take the plunge and buy it because it does come with a warranty, but I've never had any issues with my machine.
The only drawbacks I can think of to this machine are 1) the size and weight and 2) no tilt up mixing head. I've gotten accustomed to these two factors, and after four years I'd probably still buy the same machine again. I wish I had a fancy color, but I store my machine in a kitchen island cabinet, so it is only seen when I take it out to make stuff... which means my kitchen is a mess anyway so it's not a big deal!

The all-metal construction includes a heavy-duty motor to handle stiff batters and a hardwearing transmission that ensures continuous power. The mixer?s seamless, stainless-steel, 5-quart bowl stands flat on its indented base and features sealed handle and bracket connections that meet NSF standards. A professional-style bowl lift raises it easily and securely into position, even if it?s brimming with weighty dough.The mixer comes with a burnished flat beater, a burnished dough hook, and a commercial wire whip. The flat beater is perfect for mixing cake batters, mashing potatoes, and stirring quick breads. 4 sealed rubber feet hold the mixer stably in place, and a 3-wire, 6-foot power cord meets commercial requirements.
